Two ferries to Mull

We left home last Sunday at 5.30am and arrived at Bunessan Isle of Mull at around 4pm. We chose to take the Corran ferry followed by the Lochaline ferry across to Mull as they are short crossings and we weren't sure how our dog would cope with the longer crossing from Oban, as it was we chose correctly, she was much happier staying in the car - tried getting her out on the Lochaline - Fishnish crossing but claws stuck in and we couldn't encourage her up the stairs at all! Still a very scenic journey though - I only took pictures on and around the ferry as our main objective was to get there!

Kiloran Bay Island of Colonsay

Having just enjoyed a glorious week on The Island of Colonsay in the Hebrides and taken hundreds of photos, I have to share just a few with you.

We spent the first five days of the holiday in a cottage over looking Kiloran Bay, so I thought it only fitting that I show you a few of the views from around the bay as an introduction to this beautiful Isle.
