New Year walk

After all the rain we have had over the last few weeks, it was lovely to get out for a walk today in the sunshine, we chose to walk along the disused railway line or the Stafford to Newport Greenway, as we knew that the path would be relatively dry, and for a change we chose to walk towards Haughton.

We also saw bullfinch, chaffinch, fieldfare, robin, kestrel, pied wagtail, blue and great tits  and our first butterfly of 2013 as a peacock butterfly flew across the path in front of us too!
