There was a small car park at the road end with a 50p charge, so we parked up, with only one other vehicle there during our stay a vast improvement!
I could quite happily spend the day pottering about in these little bays, but a couple of hours was ok today.
Our lab, the closest thing we had seen to a seal all holiday until....
No sooner had our Daughter got out than this seal arrived to investigate what all the splashing had been about, daughter went back in with hope that the seal might join her, but not today!
Lovely photos! I enjoyed seeing your lab swimming- it reminded me of a few years back when our friends' lab had a holiday with us & our 3 dogs. (2 weeks while the friends were away in Florida). If he saw even the tiniest puddle, he would get in it. He loved the ditches, streams & the river where we lived, & after his hols he sulked for a week(back in the city.) Just like many humans!

ReplyDeleteOur lab probably stayed in the water a bit too long it was much colder than she is used to. When we returned to our holiday cottage daughter sat with her by the fire for a good hour before she stopped shaking, poor thing!
